Clarence's Paradise available!

Here's the download link for the finished version of Clarence's Paradise.
Unzip to a folder and run ClarencesParadise.jar.
This version requires you to have Java installed https://java.com/en/
It also might not work if you have an older version of java installed.

NOTE: if you decide to install java remember to uncheck the "recommended" setting so that it doesn't change your browser home page to yahoo.

INSTRUCTIONS
The headings and numbers above the text entry field represent what moves are available from the current area. For example if 'NORTH' is one of the headings shown, typing 'north' or 'n' will take you to the area north of where you are. If there are any numbers shown, entering them will let you look at things closer.

Entering ? will bring up the in game explanation.

NOTE: If you click outside the text entry field, you'll have to click inside it again in order to type.

Special thanks to Ezgif.com for their intuitive and free  GIF making capabilities.

Also thanks to my friend Kevin Tabb for invaluable technical consultation. pay a visit to BTCPredictions.com.

Clarences Paradise Lite is exactly the same as the original version, except that it uses smaller, less quality GIF files to make it easier to download. My plan has always been to use mp4 video files for the graphics, for this project however I'm using gifs because they're simpler to work with. The original paradise takes up 2.1 gigs, while this one is only 377 mb.

I'm working on getting that figured out, as well as a way so that end users won't have to bother with installing java if they don't already have it.

Clarence's Paradise

The first iteration of the Locustdale Wildlife Viewer is almost ready. This is a small self contained game in which you explore and map out a small region and figure out how to activate a machine.

This project for instance uses gifs to display images, which is fine for now because they're easy to implement, but ultimately I want to use mp4 for the video loops.
